MyVeloLog — Terms of Use

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Remonen DevLabs (Business ID 3665233-4, Naulakalliontie 26, 00970 Helsinki, Finland), which provides MyVeloLog at www.myvelolog.bike. You accept them at your first sign-in, and you must accept them to use the service.

How we handle your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

2. Your account and acceptable use

Accounts are personal. You can ask for an account, and the administrator approves each one before it becomes active; an account can be turned down without giving a reason. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass or track another person;
• upload or connect data that is not yours or that you are not allowed to share;
• try to access other users' data, break the service's security, or overload it with automated requests;
• copy, resell or redistribute the service, or data it receives from Garmin or Strava.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why when we can.

3. Connected services

MyVeloLog works with data from Garmin Connect and, if you choose, Strava. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies, and you need a valid account with them. MyVeloLog is not made, endorsed or supported by Garmin or Strava.

Sending data to Garmin. When you send a planned route to Garmin Connect, it is transferred to Garmin and handled under the Garmin privacy notice. MyVeloLog asks for your consent each time before sending. Do not send data to your Garmin Connect account if you are not allowed to do so, for example by your employer or by Garmin's own terms.

If Garmin or Strava changes or stops its service, some MyVeloLog features may stop working.

4. Not medical or training advice

MyVeloLog shows figures, trends and AI-written readings about your riding. They are for information only. They are not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for a doctor or a qualified coach. Figures can be wrong, for example because of sensor errors.

You ride at your own risk. Planned routes, forecasts, wind and traffic figures may be inaccurate or out of date; always follow the road, the weather and local rules as you find them. Do not rely on MyVeloLog in any situation where your safety depends on it.

5. Availability, changes and ending the service

MyVeloLog is currently provided free of charge. We do our best to keep it running, but it is provided "as is" and may have interruptions, errors or data loss. Keep your own copies of anything important; your original activities stay in your Garmin account.

We may change, add or remove features. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we tell you before the change takes effect, and you can stop using the service.

You can ask us to close your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for deletion and export). We may end the service as a whole with at least 30 days' notice, and offer you an export of your data before it closes.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• Remonen DevLabs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the past 12 months (currently nothing).
• Garmin, Strava and the other providers named in the Privacy Policy give no warranty and have no liability to you for MyVeloLog, for the data they provide through it, or for anything arising from your use of it. These limitations are made for their benefit as well as ours, and they may rely on them.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory Finnish or EU law.

7. Reporting abuse, contact and law

To report misuse of the service, a security problem, or anything that worries you, email privacy@myvelolog.bike. We look into every report.

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are settled in the Helsinki District Court, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to use the courts where you live. As a consumer you can also contact the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta).
